My moody day

hi!
so today there was no school-my school is already out for summer
it's pretty cool
so anyways this morning I went to the orthodontist to get my braces tightened-it really hurt!
After that I went home. My mom had work, and she asked me and my brother not to sit in front of the computer all day. We didn't. We played at the park some, and I baked chocolate chip cookies. They're actually chocolate chip lumps, since my brother is gluten-sensitive, and they turning all weird and smushy. They're really good though

When my mom got home we ate lunch and planted stuff in the garden. Our garden looks pretty good now-and the flowers we planted a few weeks ago are "taking root" and growing.

after that I had choir, which was not very good
first of all Tobey and Casey weren't there, which was annoying, because there are kinda two groups at choir. Mira, Christina, Jaya and Ezra, and then everyone else. So usually me and Tobey chat and we also kinda talk to everyone else and to Jamie(who I think Jaya has a crush on again)

but today Tobey and Casey weren't there. Neither was David, or Natasha. Basically, me, Jamie, and Jaya were the only older sopranos. And we're singing all new songs
so Jaya decided that she was sick, which just made things worse-also because I'm sick. I got sick at this birthday party I went to on saturday-it was at family friend of our's house, and I didn't bring a jacket. I got a cold and have been coughing a ton
anyways, we had to sing a G. So at first i couldn't hit it, because I have a sore throat. So then Jaya starts telling me that I suck and that I'm horrible and stuff like that-just in a matter-of-fact tone that she does sometimes. It's really annoying, because I couldn't claim that she actually meant it-but it was obvious(to me) she did.
and then to top things off, our choir director started yelling at me for talking to Jaya.

oh, and to top that off, there's another thing. I usually get a ride home with Jaya and Christina on tuesdays. Today, my mom could pick me up and wanted me to ask if she should
lucky I did, because turns out Christina and Jaya were walking somewhere together, not going home like usual. They, of course, didn't bother to tell me this...

so i'm not feeling super upbeat right now. My mood is bad

so cheer me up! post comments or something

hi
i haven't posted in a while...sorry about that
not much has been going on lately-I had some family drama but thats pretty much it

it happened yesterday. My mom was yelling at me and my brother for a while-she gets like that sometimes. One day she's all nice and "I'm not gonna bother you about homework" and the next she freaks out at me because I didn't finish my essay. It alternates all the time-to the point where me and my brother don't even take it seriously. So yesterday was one of the times where she was yelling, and my brother was going a long with her. When she's on his side, he goes along and they just tell me how horrible i am until I just want to do something horrible to them back. I try not to hit my brother-the best thing I could hurt them with would be hurting myself. I've tried not eating but every time something comes along and convinces me that it's ok and that I shouldn't hurt my family-and then I stop, until the next time my mom pisses me off.
Anyways, my mom was yelling and screaming and I finally just ran out of the room and let my brother talk(one nice thing about him is that he goes on and on just like my mom-it kept her occupied)while i grabbed my wallet, phone, and book i'm reading for school. I just walked out of the house
I ended up walking to this cafe near my house-and I called my dad. I was pissed at my mom and my brother(not so much my brother) but I figured there was no reason for them to freak out-I just felt like I needed to think and be alone without them screaming at me for a bit
so I read my book at the cafe, and then I had to walk back home, since my mom didn't want to come and get me(isn't there a selena gomez song like that(come and get it)?). So then I sat down and did my homework like a good girl, which i guess i am. I'm kinda one of those spoiled jewish american princesses. Ugh.

Apart from that, Mira and I are kind of in a fight. I'm not sure exactly why but it has to do with a sleepover she wanted to host, and something else. I can't write what the something else is, since I know my friends Casey and Tobey read this blog, and I promised Mira I wouldn't tell

Memorial Day Weekend 02-monday

so....
Maya slept over at my house. We stayed up late talking and walking and stuff. It was a lot of fun
in the morning we made pancakes(which were delicious) and chilled until about 10:30. Then she got picked up, and I practiced piano for 20 minutes before my lesson. At 10 to 11 i walked down to my piano teacher's house. I had piano until 11:45, and then I walked back home. Then I read for half an hour, and then I ate. Then my dad and I went to go pick up Casey and Tobey.
So we picked them up, which was cool. They're TONS of fun. They're really intense to be with, but you get used to it after a bit. Thats because they both finish each other's sentances and stuff like that. So my dad dropped us off at bay street, which was cool. First we bought tickets for Start Trek: Into Darkness. Then we went to a candy store, and to Lola's, where we were one of 2 groups in the dressing rooms. The other group was this older girl who looked really embarrassed to be shopping with her mom. Anyways at Lola's we tried on a bunch of fancy dresses and made tons of noise and had a great time. I have pictures, but i'm not gonna post them because then...well idk what would happen but i'm still not posting them
so after Lola's we went to Express, which was cool. We tried on tops together, and we're gonna be tripletsies(the triplet form of twinsies) tomorrow with our new matching shirts. Then we were almost late to our movie, which we thought started at 3:50, but on our tickets it said 3:20. We ended up getting new tickets and just having to sit in the front, which was good since i didn't bring my glasses. We also ran into Noah Haley from my old school-he was alone, but maybe he was going to the bathroom or something. Idk. Anyways we saw the movie. It was good

yeah, so thats the end of my epicly long post. My mood is pretty good :)

Memorial Day Weekend 01-sunday

hi!
so in this post I'm gonna talk about memorial day weekend for me...after saturday(on sat we were in L.A-for that read the previous post)
so on Saturday evening i called Maya. We were supposed to come back from L.A later, but we didn't..so i thought of calling Maya. So we decided that she should come over, and that we'd make on of our dinners together.
So sunday morning i was just lazing around a bit until about twelve, when Maya came over. We looked online, and then decided on a menu. Then we consolidated a shopping list, and gave it to my parents, who went shopping
then we chatted for a while. Maya is dating this boy who i've known since we were in 1st grade, and it's really interesting hearing about him. It's pretty funny though, because he hasn't changed much(we were best friends in elementary school-i used to be such a tomboy)
My parents came back after about an hour. Then me and Maya spent the rest of the time making:

An Cream Puffs-with chocolate dollops

It was really cool and classy. He parents came, as did one of our family friends and his dad. Everyone thought it was amazing. yup. Maya slept over-to be continued

Update on L.A

hi!
so i havem't posted since i've been in l.a. It was a LOT of fun.
we drove the six hours there on thursday morning(we left at 7 in the morning) and chilled at our hotel for a little bit. Then at five we all dressed up in fancy clothes and left for the Walt Disney Concert hall.

it was SO COOL. My mom had me and my brother watch a documentry about it with her, which was actually not that bad. It was mostly about the architect who made it(Frank Gehry) and he seems pretty cool

anyways, we saw the opera "Le Nozze Figaro"(the marriage of figero) there. It's the second opera in a trilogy, and its really good. It has a really complicated plot though...yeah. So the reason we went to see this opera is because my dad's cousin Leah is in it. She's about 33, and she's an opera singer. A mezzo soprano(they sing really high). She played Cherubino in the play, who is the young hopeless romantic, who comes, flirts with all the girls and generally screws things up for everyone. She had to act all in love with other girls..i find that really hard to do. I have friends who are bi, and whenever they talk about it i always feel left out-i'm the awkward one out, because im totally straight. One of my friends says i'm a prude but i'm really not-I'm just not comfortable with girls coming so close to me that we're almost kissing...is that prudish? I think not. Anyways Leah was really really good. Opera(for me)is like everything i like about musical theater(the singing, the dramatic-ness)without all the things i don't like as much(the dancing, the serious acting). It seems really cool, but really hard

My dad's cousin has a little daughter, whose almost 3 now. She's ADORABLE but she doesn't really have any friends. She constantly moves around the world with her mom and her dad, and her parents were having trouble with deciding how to send her to daycare because in her first two weeks her mom is doing a project which is two hours away, which would mean that she wouldn't see her mom a lot. We hung out with them all day on friday, and I got a really cute dress(at forever 21)which i think i'll wear to my piano recital on sunday. I also got a really nice tan(although my wrists arent tan in the place where i have my brazil bracelet...thats kinda awkward)

on saturday we went to the Getty Museum. which was pretty cool. Then we drove back home. I'm gonna post another post in a minute detailing my weekend after that

Going to L.A!!!!

i just wanted to say that I might not post for a few days, because i'm gonna be in l.a
 We're going to see my dad's cousin in an opera. She's an opera singer who usually works in Berlin, but she's performing in the Marriage of Figero(by Mozart) in la, and she got us free tickets!

so I'm gonna be gone until sunday. I'm also gonna come back home feeling bad about my singing-she's a mezzo soprano

Update on my week

okay sorry i haven't posted in a bit. I've just been busy with stuff. Especially on sunday
but first about saturday
So I mostly chilled at home on saturday, until like 6:30 ish. Then me and my family went to go pick up Mira for a fiddler on the roof sing long for the summer camp me and my brother are going to this summer. Mira and I were pretty much the only people our age there, and the movie of fiddler on the roof is pretty boring, so we snuck out and just chatted the whole time. we now have a little contest going on...but I won't tell you yet(maybe I'll keep someone in suspense?) After the sing along we had a sleepover. We talked until like 1in the morning, and then woke up at like 9:15. I had to get to midrasha at like 9:30, so we were pretty rushed in the morning. So was almost late for jewish sunday school, which was really fun. Me and Maya talked for most of it, even thought our teachers got mad. It was actually only a third of our normal sunday school, since it was graduation on sunday. It usually goes until 12:30, but on sunday i only had to stay until 10:30
so my dad picked me up, and then we went home. We ate a bit and then me and him went on a bike ride. It was really fun and pretty hard(we went up a few hills, and we rode 13 miles in all[according to google maps])
So when we got back from biking at about 2:45, I drank water, took a shower, and started making Pao de Queijo, which is brazilian cheese bread(My dad's side of the family is from brazil)
it turned out pretty good, although not at all how it was supposed to look.
So the cheese bread was for the twelfth night cast party, which started at 4:30. My dad and I left at like 4:30, and then(of course) we got lost. It was very sad. It was because I asked David what his address was(the cast parties are always at his house) and it was 1 hawk hill road. So i misread the text and just typed in 1 hawk road on my google maps. So google maps got really confused, and we got lost. But then i looked at the text again and figured it out. Then we got to his house.

the cast party was really fun-Christian got a boyfriend named Benji, who seem pretty nice. He was the lights guy for twelfth night, and he goes to the music school the play was at. He's a cellist, and a pretty wierd(when he asked her out, he asked if she'd wanna go get coffee together sometime...not a movie, not ice cream....coffee. But different people go for different things). He fits Christina though. She's pretty quirky herself(like cool quirky)

Monday I was just tired-I had school, then volunteering, then I was babysitting this girl who goes to my old school. Her school bus stops at the school right next to my house, which also happens to be Christina, Casey, Tobey, and David's school(plus other people that you've never heard about, so i won't mention them) I saw David and Casey while I was waiting for her bus to come

then yesterday I didn't do much either-I had school and then choir.

today has been good too-got out early since it's wednesday

my mood is pretty good
